Description
A very hardy deciduous climber massed with dark glossy buds which open to elegant, pendulous bells of deep blue-purple prominently edged with white. Flowers from June into August when pruned in winter at 10 cm above soil level. Handsome silky seed heads and a slight fragrance. Will grow in most fertile soils in sun or part shade. Height 5 feet.
